The round off is perhaps one of the most intricate skills in tumbling. It requires great hamstring,glute, and core strength. It is a series of critical body positions from the athletic stance to the hurdle to the straight line from your toes to the hands and then driving your front leg to meet the back leg and snapping down. All of these must happen to bring power, speed and height of the third skill to your running tumbling.

  • Leg drives with theraband/rubber bands
  • Hamstring Bridges (two feet and one leg)
  • Superman Lifts
  • Prone Hold
  • Lunges/Quick Lunges
  • Rubber band Conditioning
  • Plyometric Punches
  • Shoulder Stretches and Rubber Band exercises
  • Depth Jumps (age 13 and up)
